I presume you need a smart phone... I just have a regular phone... but I have thought about getting one just for the Con, activate it for 30 days and then disable it until the next year

Yeah you could do a pay as you go like Virgin Mobile. Square works on Android and iPhone, so you have options in what phone you'd use, too.

Or the other option (less preferable, IMO) is to have a laptop or something set up for people to submit payments via PayPal or Google Checkout on the spot.

Actually all I needed was to know my total and the email address to send money to...
I have PayPal and Google Checkout on my phone. Could have paid on the spot, but then Doug would have needed a way to mark me as paid up front...

There's a lot of simple solutions. Feel free to pick my brain if you need to... I eat technology for breakfast and work.

Anyway, I hope the "dead beats" remember their debts
