Welcome to the North Texas RPG Convention! The NTRPG Con focuses on old-school Dungeons & Dragons gaming (OD&D, 1E, 2E, or Basic/Expert) as well as any pre-1999 type of RPG produced by the classic gaming companies of the 70s and 80s (TSR, Chaosium, FGU, FASA, GDW, etc). We also support retro-clone or simulacrum type gaming that copies the old style of RPGs (Swords & Wizardry, Castles & Crusades, and others). ANY RPG games are welcome at the Con, be it D&D 4e, Pathfinder, or something we haven't even heard of, just be sure you can fill a table with 5-6 people before you ask to have it added to the schedule...

Our next convention dates are: Thursday June 2, 2011 @ 1500 until Sunday June 5, 2011 @ 1800

Early Bird registration opens July 1, 2010 and runs until July 31, 2010. During the Early Bird Registration period, you can save $5.00 on the full Con registration fee, pre-purchase the limited edition first print Digest Modules to be released at the Con, buy Con T-Shirts, and purchase discounted raffle tickets in preset quantities. (you can also purchase Vendor Tables & Shelves at a discounted price as well during the month of July)

Please look around, read up and register if you plan to attend. You must pay for one day or a weekend before you are able to register for a game. Currently, single day registration can only be done by sending me an email requesting to be registered for a specific day @ $15.00 per day. The Con will be held at the same hotel. The location is the Staybridge Suites DFW North in Irving, TX (dfwstaybridge.com).  We have a special rate for con attendees that is in effect until May 20th, 2011 so don't delay in getting your reservations. Every room is a suite with a fridge, microwave and stovetop!

We have 9 confirmed guests attending in 2011: (Erol Otus, Rob Kuntz, Jason Braun, Tim Kask, Dennis Sustare, Steve Winter, Frank Mentzer, Paul Jaquays, Steve Marsh). The lineup includes several of the more important figures in the history of RPGs as a whole and Dungeons & Dragons in particular.

Game Event registration won't be open until April 15th, 2011! You must register for the con and pay your fee (either daily or weekend) before you are able to register for games.
